Tenwek Hospital, Bomet

The project involved improvements and expansion of existing infrastructure for water supply, wastewater, electrical and storm water at Tenwek Hospital to improve existing services and cater for new facilities to be developed.

New water treatment plant (WTP) with a capacity of 700m3/day (including decommissioning of the existing
water treatment plant)
• New water-water treatment plant (WWTP), capacity 570m3/day
• New storm water conveyance and disposal system
• Extension of the power distribution to serve the new cardio thoracic centre (CTC) as well the water treatment plant (WWT) and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) needs.
