Eng. Ochieng is a registered civil engineer responsible for business, client, project and technical management as well as client relations and coordination. He specialises in defining and delivering complex transformation with particular experience in urban and rural/community water supply and sanitation projects in the eastern, central and southern Africa countries, including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Somalia and South Africa.
Bernard has a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering (Public Health Engineering) and has worked as a Water and Sanitation Engineer for more than 20 years. He has recently undertaken several projects as a civil engineer, and has been Team Leader in several including the following among others:-
Eng. Bernard is well versed with client facing roles at key stages and acts as a conduit for any issues throughout the project which may require resolution. His strengths lie in his ability to structure solutions to complex problems, facilitate informed choices and deliver the required business results.

Eng. Wachira has over 33 years working experience as a Civil/structural design and supervision engineer in major projects including bridges and roads, drainage structures, building structures, water structures among others. In his varying roles he has acquired an excellent understanding of the business processes that drive change within organisations and markets. Further, he has overseen Design Reviews, Technical Audits,
Tender Documentation, and management of projects in several countries in Africa including Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania and South Sudan. He has particularly been involved in Developing long term strategies to ensure Howard Humphreys remains technically at the forefront of the industry while ensuring commercial success.
As Project Director, he has managed, design reviews, Technical Audits; condition surveys, establishing catchment characteristics, hydrological studies of river crossings, construction supervision on several roads including Dundori-Olkalou-Njabini road; Olkaria IV road; Emali Ukia Road; Witu- Lamu-Kiunga Road ; Bangula-Nsaje-Marka road in Malawi, Sironko to Kapchorwa Road in Uganda, Nakuru-Timboroa Road and Nakuru –Mogotio Road with survey covering a total of 150km of road with many bridges and culverts. He also carried out the condition survey of existing structures on Kipsingak-Serem road and did the capacity check of existing bridges, recommending the structures to be retained and the ones to be replaced. He was also responsible for design of all structures on Achimota to Anyinam Road in Ghana and design of 160m Syotuvali bridge in Kenya. He was also responsible for supervision of construction of all the structures and the erection of 10 bridges on piled foundations for the Mwingi – Kalanga Corner Road in Kenya. Designed and produced drawings for a 24m span bridge for Northern Reconstruction project in Uganda including production of bills of quantities for Tender.
Eng. Wachira is well versed with contract documentation and has working experience with FIDIC Conditions of Contract. He is also computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Ms Project, Primavera and engineering design software including Auto CAD, Nova Point, Civil 3D, Robot, Global Mapper among others.
